From the opening notes it captures you. The rhythm is just beautful. The synth and sax playing super cool with the vocals as the creme a creme on top. This is so soulful it makes you want to keep playing it. Brilliant Al.

I was hooked right away by the intro, it got me wondering where it was going...then it grew into a magnificent fusion of styles and elements. Love those vocals and the sax! The vibe is captivating, it's soulful yet funky at the same time. Top notch production as always, and an arrangement that makes you want to listen again and again.

Wow Wow Wow this is just a great crossover piece Jazz, R and B, Pop all rolled into one this song would appeal to a wide audience. From the intro keys that sucks you in to the Classic Al sax Love it all.

You are in a league of your own in terms of musicianship, production. You truly are a composer as you write for every instrument and your cohesiveness never stops amazing me. I have not heard better production than yours on SC. Excellent composition!

Well, what can I say? You've even excelled Al Massey on this track. Totally captivating right to the very end with that nice little phaser piano. People like you (and me I hope), who continually put up new material, are the life and spirit of Soundclick, - pushing those boundaries a little further (occasionally stepping back in my case) ;) You do know this one will take some following!! :)

I percept the track as one of the best versions of modern pop music. Pleasing melodies - both vocal and instrumental - and great groove in a whole. All elements are very exquisite: the vocal lines, keys and saxophone are amazing in their perfection. So many subtle nuances in tone of every element of musical fabric! How to express it right?... Maybe whimsical? Or even fantastic?... So something like that. :D
The duration of the song is quite long in comparison with pop standard but you do not notice it while listening (I have listened to the track several times in a row and then was surprised to those 5:10). So... this is model song in my opinion.

Been off line during my move but it is really great to get back on and find a new Gem from you Al...! This is great (Listening now) The vocals are great and push this killer tune over the top. This is such a groovin' tune one just can't sit still. Every instrument performed and recorded to perfection! Another example of excellence in songwriting!

I've long since exhausted superlatives for describing Mr. Massey's first class multifaceted music. First thing that struck me was the cool trailing fx on the piano track chords at the intro followed by the cool vocal track nestled within a signature Ascenzion rhythmic vibe. Highlight for me is your sax work Al, which is so seductive. Great funk keys throughout. Another first class piece of music - way too long between the release of your new tracks though Al.

Great work, Al! Your musical skills really shine in this soulful, electronic R&B-like song. I don't see any credits for the vocals, so I guess they are samples that you worked around? Very interesting for me production-wise, I can hear what you are doing right and I am doing wrong, so this is really a win-win experience :)

Very cool intro with that arpegiated synth together with the vocal inserts.It sounds so good in my monitors!:)
Love that clavinett-like keys and the way you build the song - adding more and more like the chorusline over the leadsingers! Nice and tight groove. And delicious and infectious sax-lines enters at 2.30 mark.Very good!Also like the falsetto-singers near the outro.

Loved the intro so much Al, the piano riff sounds fantastic, opens such a great landscape and let the mind walk around.
Your ability to add, piece for piece , the different elements is extraordinary, in fact one never knows where you will bring the listener in the next section.....very very good!
The richness using the vocal is the focus in this track, loved your sax accents and as always an impeccable rythm part!!

Such a nice, smooth building up here, adding the elements one by one. At 0:40 the groove is coming in.
That groove really makes you wanna dance, with that sound like candy. Fantastic samples of black vocalists. The bass line is keeping the things on line.
Very good change at 1:38, keeping everybody alert and curious for what is still coming. 1:57: Back on the base line.
2:40: Your gorgeous sax coming in, followed by some special synths. Then the sax is coming back, alternated with vocals.
More vocal lines around 3:50. A lot is happening. I hear a funky touch as well.
Couldn't you make a 12 inch version (probably a term of the 80`s) of it? It just stopped too soon for me.
No, I'll just listen another time, sure that it will be a success again........ Very good! Enjoyed it!

Modern with no harshness, just a smooth groove that pleases the ear. Captivating layering of instruments, not just the selection but the blending of sounds to make several instruments act as one. And then there's that sax, the star of the show as far as I'm concerned.

Groovin' counterpoint intro leads to a futuristic beat that get's my head bobbin' :) That bass hook really makes the tune Al - fantastic vocals arranged well. And - of course - your signature sax (and keys) are commanding!
